WE LOVE THIS EVENT!!! Where else can you go to hear multiple bands of different genres of music (3 stages!!), enjoy some of the BEST BBQ around, and bring the entire family? To the 4th Annual BarBAYq BBQ Contest and Music Festival....that's where!
The proceeds from this event benefit Annapolis area children's charities. Every year this event raises more money and has grown in size, yet remains very well run - we are very proud to be associated with it.
In just THREE short years, the Parole (Annapolis) Rotary Club Foundation, Inc., has raised over $100,000 and provided grants to Anne Arundel Medical Center Pediatrics Emergency Inpatient Unit, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, and numerous other local children's charities.
So do some good, get out in the fresh air and even bring the kids (there are plenty of activities for them to enjoy).
This is a 2-day event (Saturday, May 3 from 11 AM - 9 PM and Sunday, May 4 from Noon - 6 PM).
We will play a 45 minute set at 3 PM on Saturday.
