"Gitfiddle: A name for a guitar, resulting from arguments over the proper pronunciation. May also refer to a bass guitar played with a bow typically used on non-electric double-basses. 'GIT-tar! - Guh-TAR! - It's a git-fiddle, shut up.' " (Source: UrbanDictionary.com)
Formerly known as the "Orioles' Nest," Gitfiddles is one of our new favorite places to play - the people are great - the family that owns the place (make sure to meet the Fellows family when you are there) is always there working hard and having fun and truly appreciates live music. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, and there is never a cover charge.
We can usually convince Jeremy Fellows to get up and play a few with us - he is a player's player - a real talent on the guitar, so you are in for a treat!
